FAQ - THERAPY
What are the fees for individual therapy?
Initial phone or video consultation appointment = no fee
Intake appointment = $135
Individual therapy sessions (50 minute session) = $95/session
Do you accept insurance?
Upon request, I can provide you with an invoice at the end of the month of your appointment(s) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to work with your insurance company to seek the reimbursement, which includes contacting your insurance to find out things such as your coverage for an out-of-network provider, the reimbursement rate for an an out-of-network provider, your out-of-pocket deductible, and securing the subscriber claim form from your insurance company. I cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for services. We can discuss questions or concerns you have regarding using your out-of-network benefits versus fee for service.

I accept cash, check, or credit card. Cash or check is due at the time of your appointment. If you wish to pay by credit card, an invoice will be sent to you electronically within 1 day after your appointment and you may pay via credit card. payment is due within 7 days of after your scheduled appointment.
Late Cancellations and/or No Shows:
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance otherwise you may be required to pay $95. If I am unable to keep our appointment, I will notify you at least 24 hours in advance and will make every effort to try to reschedule the appointment for a later date.
I will return phone calls/emails/text messages within 24 hours from the time you sent the message, except on holidays and when I’m on vacation or have time-off, then I will return your message on the next business day following the holiday or my vacation/time-off. If it is an emergency, please call 911 or seek assistance from the nearest emergency room or local crisis/urgent resources. There may be times or situations where a telephone consultation regarding issues not related to appointments or similar business is desired or even needed by you during our time together. If so, I will charge you our regular fee, prorated over the time needed if the call is over 15 minutes long.
What if I have a crisis/emergency and need to reach you immediately and/or after hours, or you are unavailable?
In cases of after hours and/or emergency/crisis situations, clients are directed to seek out services by dialing 911 or seeking services at their nearest emergency room.
